Mission and Priorities
The 25th Attack Wing, headquartered at Shaw AFB, South Carolina, is the central hub for conventional MQ-9 combat operations worldwide.
The Attack Wing is comprised of ten squadrons located in four states, including South Carolina, Nevada, South Dakota and Missouri.
Forces and Organization
The 25th Attack Wing operates in four combatant commands simultaneously, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The wing operates across four Combatant Commands: European Command, Indo-Pacific Command, Central Command, and Africa Command. The wing's primary platform is the MQ-9, a multirole remotely piloted aircraft capable of Strike Coordination and Reconnaissance, Air Interdiction & Dynamic Targeting, Close Air Support, ISR, Combat Search and Rescue, Precision Strike, and Air Operations in Maritime Surface Warfare.
